Kyle Glover Dead: Usher's Stepson Dies After Injuries Sustained During Georgia Jet Ski Accident
Usher's 11-year-old stepson, Kyle Glover died on Saturday, July, 21 from injuries sustained in a tragic Jet Ski accident in Georgia earlier this month.
According to TMZ, doctors removed Glover from life support after it was determined that his injuries were too severe to overcome.
Glover, the stepson of R&B star Usher and his former wife Tameka Foster, was declared brain dead on July 9, after he was involved in a jet ski accident on Lake Lanier in Atlanta just one day earlier.
He's bad, Foster told Radar Online after the accident. Reports following the accident indicated that Glover showed no signs of brain activity when he arrived at the hospital.
A 15-year-old friend who was with him was hospitalized for a deep cut on the head and a broken arm.
The accident happened when a 38-year-old man riding a personal watercraft struck the inner tube attached to a boat Glover and his friend were sharing. Glover was immediately knocked out and was airlifted to the hospital from the lake.
Sgt. Mike Burgamy of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources said the crash was not alcohol-related and authorities have not released whether or not any charged will be filed from the accident.
The accident is currently under investigation
