  • One netizen accused Kylie Jenner of snubbing a Black-owned fashion brand on Instagram
  • The reality star denied the allegation that she snubbed the brand
  • The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star rarely tags brands on Instagram unless it’s her own fashion line

Kylie Jenner denied the allegation that she refused to tag a Black-owned fashion brand on social media.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star was recently on vacation to celebrate the Fourth of July. She shared snaps of her wearing Loud Brand Studios’ “Vashtie” dress on Instagram. It featured a body-con style with a sexy, stretchy fishnet bodice that highlighted her curves.

Jenner did not tag the brand in her post, so one Twitter user felt that it was an intentional snub.

“Kylie Jenner is refusing to tag the designer of the dress she just posted, which is a black owned brand, and now limiting her comments. [clown face emoji] @LoudBrndStudios is the designer!” Zoey wrote on Instagram.

“AND FOR EVERYONE SAYING ‘she doesn’t have to tag it if she bought it’ Yes I know. But she deleted comments that were tagging the brand and then limited comments and thats grimey!!! Stop defending them, they won’t notice you losers,” she added.

Some also felt that it was about business. Mentioning the brand would appear to be a promotion without Kylie being paid for it. Normally, she receives a huge amount every time she endorses a brand.

“$$$$$$ always follow the money. If she's not getting paid a million for that IG post like she usually charges & people are tagging the designer it's free publicity & that's not fair to those who pay her on a regular basis. Literally it's just business,” @MRhian19 commented.

“Not everything is racial. Money wins,” the same netizen added.

“I don't know and don't really care about them. I'm just saying (with a wife that is an IG influencer with a couple million followers) that's exactly what happens. It's not fair to her paying clients to give it away for free. Its just business.”

The reality star responded immediately to clear the matter. Kylie denied that she refused to tag the brand.

“Ok this is just a reach. why would i ever REFUSE to tag a brand and block comments. this is completely false,” the reality star wrote on Twitter.

“I think this brand is amazing and i wanted to show support and will continue to do so. everyone go check out @LoudBrndStudios.”

Kylie added the brand in her post on Twitter but still skipped the brand’s name in her Instagram post. However, a source told Page Six that the reality star rarely tags brands on Instagram unless it’s her own fashion line or she’s modeling for an editorial spread.
