Kylie Jenner Asks Snapchat If Lip Filter Was ‘Making Fun’ Of Her: See It On Instagram [VIDEO]

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kylie Jenner wondered if Snapchat was “making fun” of her after a new filter emerged Tuesday. Part of what has helped make the ephemeral picture and message app a sensation is the ability to add fun screens to posts, and Jenner, the queen of Snapchat, loves to use them. But when the new filter was a pair of oversize lips, she asked a question that was on the tip of everyone’s tongue: Did Snapchat throw shade at her enviable pout?

She used the new feature, which makes a person’s lips purple and look cartoonlike. She smirked into the camera and asked: “Are you making fun of me Snap?” Jenner didn’t seem offended by the new feature, and then posted a picture of herself with the Snapchat-style lips to her story. In fact, she went back to the filter later in the day Tuesday and laughed, “I just feel like they’re making fun of me.”

Jenner, 18, is one of the most followed people on Snapchat. She hasn’t revealed how many view her story per day, but she claimed she was the most followed person on the app and one of the most popular people on Instagram. “[Thirty] million followers?! I just found out I’m in the top ten most followed on Instagram and #1 viewed person on Snapchat . This is still crazy to me. Blessed to feel loved & when I launch my website I have many ideas to give that love back. I can’t wait!!!” she wrote in an Instagram post in August.

It’s a toss-up between Jenner and rapper DJ Khaled for who gets the most Snapchat story views. DJ Khaled shared a screenshot of some of his stories, which showed he gets more than 2 million views per day.
