Kylie Jenner Cosmetics: Reality Star Says Company Isn’t All About Making Money

“Life of Kylie” star Kylie Jenner might be expecting her first baby - a girl - this February, but her first “baby” was actually born several years ago. This is Kylie Cosmetics, which was launched back in 2015 when she introduced her world-famous lip kits.

Since then, Jenner has expanded her make-up line with eye shadows, highlighters, concealers, and lipsticks, and she is expected to rake in a billion dollars by the time she turns 25. The numbers are overwhelming, but Jenner told Love Magazine’s Spring/Summer 2018 issue that making money isn’t what’s really important to her. She explained that she loves Kylie Cosmetics because it is something that is authentic to her personality.

“I think truly, I put a lot of hard work into this,” Jenner said. “It’s not like I’m doing this to make money. I don’t even think about that part. This is just something authentic to me.”

Jenner might not think money is important, but having it around is certainly icing on the cake. In fact, she is busy building a new mansion in Los Angeles that is pegged at a whopping $2.37 million, according to TMZ.

The construction site, which is located in Hidden Hills, has a building permit that was issued back in December. The first floor will be 9,187 sq. ft., while the second floor would be 5,304 sq. ft. There will be two huge garages that are 1,200 sq. ft and 1,468 sq. ft big, and it would have 1,836 sq. ft. of covered porches. Naturally, there will even be a pool and a cabana. Jenner also secured an older permit for a retaining wall and one for the foundation.

Once the mansion is done, it would make a nice new home for her and the baby. Jenner is expecting the baby together with rapper, Travis Scott. She got together with Scott right after she broke up with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Tyga last year.

There have been reports that Jenner and Scott are spending less time together amidst the pregnancy, but thankfully, Jenner has her sisters for support as she prepares for childbirth.

“Kylie is nervous about giving birth,” a source close to the family shared with E! News, adding that her sisters are “helping calm her fears and letting her know what to expect.”
