Kylie Jenner Feels ‘Way More Free’ After Splitting Up From Tyga
People respond differently to breakups, and in the case of Kylie Jenner, she’s too busy having fun to think of her old beau.
In the sneak peek for Sunday’s “Life of Kylie” episode shared by E! News, the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan is busy getting ready for the 2017 Met Gala in New York with her glam team. In the clip, the lip kit mogul opens up about her breakup with her boyfriend of three years, Tyga.
“I’ve had more fun this past month than I have in like years,” Kylie says in the clip. “Like the last three years of my life were just like a blur. I just stayed in the house all day.”
“Now it’s like, I feel like I can be more myself,” she adds. “I feel way more free. I’m just like really, genuinely happy right now.”
Jenner is currently dating another musician named Travis Scott, and it looks like things are already pretty serious between them since the rapper lavished her with a $60,000 butterfly necklace on her birthday this August.
According to TMZ, Scott contacted Elliot Avianne to have the necklace specially made for Jenner, and it’s reportedly made of 28 carats of VVS diamonds.
Meanwhile, Tyga previously discussed his split with Jenner during an interview with Power 105.1 FM’s “The Breakfast Club.” He said that he has moved on from their relationship, since “I have love for her but I’m not in love no more.”
He also denied being left behind by Jenner, since their breakup was a mutual decision. “When you make a decision to not be in a relationship with someone, ya’ll make that decision, ya’ll split ways,” he explained.
Tyga even hinted that Jenner’s decision to leave their relationship was influenced by her family and friends, who probably told her he was bad news for her. “It’s like any relationship... the main thing was just, like, it was a lot of outside influences, and like you said, she’s younger than me so she’s dealing with perception. I’m older, so I can deal with, like, perception,” he said.
