Kylie Jenner Helps BFF Jordyn Woods Pay Tribute To Late Dad
Kylie Jenner learned how to ride a motorcycle with pal Jordyn Woods to honor the latter's late father.
In the latest episode of "Life of Kylie," Jordyn confessed that losing her dad, John Woods, this year has been difficult for her. In fact, she has yet to move on from his passing. "Losing my dad this year, it still isn't real to me," Jordyn said (via E! News). "It's still like that process of acceptance. It's going to take awhile."
Following her dad's death, Jordyn, 19, got a "J" tattoo to honor him. She and Kylie, 20, also learned how to ride a motorcycle together as this is one of John's passions.
In January, Jordyn announced the death of her dad on Instagram. She shared a photo of her dad with two motorcycles in the background and wrote a touching message about John.
"Last night heaven Got Another angel," Jordyn wrote. "My Daddy. Just two short weeks ago he was diagnosed with cancer and by that time it was too late. I appreciate everyone's kind words and it means the world to me. It still doesn't feel real. Forever and Always."
At the time, Kylie also made sure to express her support and love to Jordyn when she was grieving for her dad's death. The "Life of Kylie" star took to Instagram to share a photo of her with Jordyn. "My Fire Ox, My Brother, My Soul Sister. Give Jordy & her family some support and prayers right now. I love you the long way @jordynwoods . The other half of me .. When you cry I cry," Kylie wrote in the caption.
According to Life & Style, Kylie also donated $10,000 to the GoFundMe page Jordyn's mom created to fund her husband's medical and funeral costs.
Jordyn and Kylie grew up together in Los Angeles. In fact, the former appeared in a number of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" episodes over the years.
In August, Jordyn opened up about her friendship with Kylie. According to her, they have been best friends from eighth grade going into high school. She also described Kylie as "super outgoing."
Jordyn is confident about her friendship with Kylie. "We have a special connection where we just get each other. Knowing you could tell them like, 'Hey I just killed someone, I need you to come...' Not saying we'd ever do that," she told E! News.
