Kylie Jenner Loses ‘Seriously Popular’ People’s Choice Award To ‘Dance Moms’ Star Maddie Ziegler
It looks like the Kardashian-Jenners may not be the biggest stars of tinseltown after all. Despite coming into her own in 2015, Kylie Jenner, the youngest of Kris Jenner’s reality TV clan, did not win the People’s Choice Award's Seriously Popular category Wednesday night. The 18-year-old “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star lost the honor to another teenage TV personality.
During the CBS awards show “Dance Moms” performer Maddie Ziegler was gifted the honor, which was hosted by the DailyMail.com. While Maddie, 13, did not go onstage to accept her win, the cameras did show her being gifted her trophy in the audience. After being handed her award, Maddie smiled and blew at kiss at the camera while her mom and “Dance Moms” co-star, Melissa Gisoni, applauded.
Other big names nominated in the category included Bella Thorne, Cara Delevingne and Ruby Rose.
As International Business Times previously reported, Maddie sported a dress designed by former “Project Runway” star Michael Costello to the West Coast event.
