Kylie Jenner recently revealed that one boy made her want to have bigger lips.

During Sunday night’s episode of “Life of Kylie,” the reality star recalled a bad experience with someone she trusted when she was just 15 years old. Jenner said that she was born with very thin lips, and her first kiss with a teenage boy made her feel very insecure.

“I was 15 and I was insecure about my lips. I have really small lips. And it was like one of my first kisses and a guy was like, ‘I don’t think you would be a good kisser because you have such small lips.’ But I took that really hard. Just when a guy you like says that, I don’t know, it just really affected me. I just didn’t feel desirable or pretty. I really wanted bigger lips. I would over line my lips with lip liner just to create the illusion of bigger lips. And then finally I was like this lip liner isn’t doing it. I ended up getting my lips done,” she said.

At present, even though Jenner is more confident with the size of her lips, she admitted that she still tries hard to earn her mom’s approval. In the episode, Kylie and her mom, Kris Jenner, went on a trip to Peru to donate part of the money she earned from selling her Smile lip kit.

Prior to their trip, the matriarch became upset with her youngest daughter since she decided to party in Miami with an unnamed guy she was dating. This resulted in Kris picking her daughter up and adding five more hours to their road trip before finally flying to South America.

While speaking with her assistant, Victoria Villaroel, Kris said that while she’s happy her daughter is dating someone, she also wants her to focus on her responsibilities. “And I want her to enjoy herself and have fun, but she needs to be able to still focus on the details and the important things,” she said.

During her interview for the reality TV show, Jenner said that she and her mom have a much better relationship now than when she was younger. “I was scared of my mom growing up,” she said.
