Kylie Jenner And Travis Scott Engagement Rumors Not True, Insider Says

An insider has spilled the beans about Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott's engagement rumors. The rumors started after Jenner was spotted wearing a gold ring on her finger earlier this week.

The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star took to Instagram Tuesday to show off a pair of matching rings from Scott, gifted to her and her 3-year-old daughter Stormi Webster. In the photo, she and her daughter flaunt their iced-out hands with their matching rings.

What caught the attention of eagle-eyed fans, however, was the gold band Jenner was wearing on her wedding ring finger. After the photo sparked speculations that Jenner and Scott might be heading down the aisle soon, a source told E! News that there is no truth in the rumors.

“They are not engaged,” the source told the outlet.

Despite that, jewelry experts told the outlet that the diamond ring Scott gave Jenner does hold a sweet meaning. Jenny Luker, the president of Platinum Guild International USA, said the ring seems to be “matching Toi et Moi rings,” which are usually given as sentimental presents because they symbolize the union of two people.

Diamond stylist Danielle Leeann Chin also added that the ring style is “representative of any type of love and everlasting bond, such as that between family— especially mother and daughter.”

Chin said Jenner’s platinum ring seems to have between 10 to 12 carats of diamonds, which costs around $300,000. Stormi’s sparkler, on the other hand, likely costs around $40,000 and has about two to five carats of diamonds.

Last June, Jenner and Scott were also caught up in engagement rumors after Scott called Jenner “wifey.” At the time, the couple walked the red carpet at the 72^nd annual Parsons Benefit in New York City with Stormi. While accepting his award at the gala, Scott said, “Stormi, I love you, and wifey, I love you,” fanning speculations that they might tie the knot soon.

Jenner and Scott started dating in April 2017, five months before Jenner got pregnant with Stormi. Last September, Jenner confirmed that they’re expecting their second child together.
