Kylie Jenner-Tyga Update: ‘Kardashian’ Star Engaged To ‘Stimulated’ Rapper After Instagram Ring Picture: Report
Rumors have swirled for weeks that “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kylie Jenner was engaged to “Stimulated” rapper Tyga, but now the gossip appears to be true. Jenner's boyfriend (or possible fiancé) gave her a special diamond ring for that finger, Hollywood Life wrote in an exclusive report Friday.
But don’t expect the couple to make an announcement anytime soon. “They aren’t ready to tell everyone so right now they’re keeping it a secret from most people,” the insider told Hollywood Life.
The anonymous person, however, confirmed they planned to tie the knot. “He gave her that ring and asked her to marry him,” the source said. “Tyga and Kylie are engaged." Jenner caused a stir among social media users when she posted an Instagram picture Thursday. Though she said she was doing a photo shoot, followers noticed that her left ring finger was bedazzled.
Don’t be disappointed if the rumors turn out to be false. Stories claimed that Tyga wanted to propose to Jenner while she was underage in June.
Though the “KUWTK” star turned 18 years old on Aug. 10, no official engagement announcement has been made. Even if Jenner does wear a diamond ring on a certain finger on her left hand, it’s something she’s been known to do in the past -- even before she dated Tyga.
The reality star created tabloid fodder when she wore jewelry on her ring finger in July 2014. She was only 16 at the time and rumored to be dating Jaden Smith, the son of award-winning actor and rapper Will Smith. The two never confirmed they dated and maintained they were only friends. “She's one of my best friends,” Smith told Wonderland magazine at the time. "It's pretty awesome."
Since Jenner started dating Tyga, whose real name is Michael Stevenson, she and Smith have not been spotted together.
A four-episode special of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” will air on E! Sunday, Sept. 20, at 8 p.m. EDT.
