Kylie Minogue Announces Engagement To Joshua Sasse, Sports New Diamond Ring
Kylie Minogue announced her engagement to actor Joshua Sasse through an advertisement in the Daily Telegraph on Friday. The announcement comes after Joshua was reportedly heard talking about the engagement on the night of the NME Awards. The Australian pop star looked stunning in a sheer white minidress at the event as she presented an award to Coldplay.
“The engagement is announced between Joshua, son of the late Dominic Sasse and of Mary Heale (nee Macauley), of Herefordshire, and Kylie, eldest daughter of Ronald and Carol Minogue, or Melbourne, Australia,” the announcement reads. Their engagement announcement was placed in a notice in the forthcoming marriages section of the newspaper. The 47-year-old Kylie is all set to marry her actor boyfriend, 28, after the confirmation was placed under the names Mr JS von Sasse and Miss KA Minogue.
At the 2016 NME Awards in Austin, Texas on Wednesday, Kylie showed off her new accessory — a vintage-inspired diamond ring on the ring finger. She posed on the red carpet at the awards ceremony with her hands placed on her hips, flaunting the mega-carat bling. The Australian native has been pictured wearing the ring since January.
The newly engaged couple took to Instagram and thanked their followers with a photo of a typewritten message. “A huge thanks for all of your kind wishes today. Love & Love, J & K,” the caption reads.
She and Joshua posed together at the Prince’s Trust “Invest in Futures” gala in London earlier this month, wearing the new sparkler.
Her new diamond and emerald engagement ring was the talking point of the night. Kylie and Joshua met on the set of his show “Galavant” when she made a guest appearance. They began dating in September. “I never have a Mr. Minogue that is the beginning and the end. I look at my man and with Joshua, I’d be Mrs. Sasse, he’s not a Mr. Minogue at all,” she told Australian breakfast television program “Sunrise” in November.
