‘LA To Vegas’: ‘This Is Us’ Actress Caitlin Thompson To Guest Star

Caitlin Thompson has scored a guest-starring role on Fox’s “LA to Vegas.”

Thompson will appear in next week’s Season 1, episode 4 of the comedy. While details on her role are being kept under wraps, a promo photo for the episode shows the actress smiling and resting her hands on the shoulders of fellow guest star Brian Van Holt.

According to the synopsis for installment, Ronnie (Kim Matula) recognizes that a regular passenger appears to be cheating on his wife and considers whether or not she should expose him. Could Van Holt and Thompson be playing the husband and wife? Or the husband and his mistress?

Thompson currently plays Madison on NBC’s “This Is Us.” Her other acting credits include The CW’s “90210” and ABC Family’s “Greek.”

Van Holt, meanwhile, is best known for his role as Bobby Cobb on the ABC’s “Cougar Town.” The 48-year-old actor also appeared on FX’s “The Bridge,” HBO’s “John from Cincinnati,” and CBS’ “Threshold.”

Elsewhere in next week’s episode of “LA to Vegas,” Captain Dave (Dylan McDermott) falls for an air traffic controller, but has trouble asking her out. Meanwhile, passengers get a little carried away when Jackpot Airlines installs credit card swipers to charge them for just about everything on board.

Apparently, as revealed in the trailer for the episode, passengers can even buy medical vaccines on board. “Passengers can now purchase in-flight flu shots,” Ronnie says in the promo clip. Later in the video, Bernard (Nathan Lee Graham) accidentally injects a syringe into the neck of a male passenger (Jimmy Cast) when the plane suddenly hits turbulence. The passenger screams in pain as Bernard himself shrieks in terror. Will the airline continue to offer vaccination after the unfortunate incident?

Elsewhere in the trailer, Captain Dave meets Colin’s (Ed Weeks) son Nate (Boone Nelson) for the first time. “Look, Nate. That’s the pilot,” Colin tells his son as Captain Dave approaches.

Captain Dave then stops for a second and gives Nate a pretty shocking advice: “Don’t do drugs … yet.”

“LA to Vegas” Season 1, episode 4, titled “The Affair,” airs on Tuesday, 9 p.m. EST on Fox. Watch the trailer for the episode below:
