Lady Gaga already raises $250,000 for Japan relief efforts
As soon as the 8.9 magnitude earthquake shook Japan Friday, a number of celebrities took to Twitter to offer their support and prayers.
Lady Gaga took an extra step to raise awareness and funds for the relief efforts. The pop star designed a Japanese Tsunami Relief Wristband for charity.
The singer posted on Twitter that through sale of the bracelets her fans helped her raise a quarter of a million dollars.

The bracelet has Lady Gaga's Monster paw emblem on it and reads We Pray for Japan.
The wristband costs $5 and can be purchased off of Lady Gaga's website.
