Lady Gaga, Ex Taylor Kinney ’Still Very Close’ Despite Christian Carino Romance

It seems Lady Gaga is not the type to hold a grudge with an ex after a breakup. In fact, Mother Monster is still friendly with her former beau, Taylor Kinney.

On Wednesday, a source close to Gaga revealed that the “Million Reasons” hitmaker is still on good terms with the “Chicago Fire” actor. “Gaga and Taylor Kinney are still very close, but they are only friends,” the source told Us Weekly.

So just how close are the exes? The source said they “talk or text every single day” and they even “meet up” when by chance they are in the same city. Nonetheless, the source maintained that their relationship is only platonic at this point.

The source’s revelation comes days after the 35-year-old Hollywood hottie was spotted showing his support for the 31-year-old songstress during her concert at Chicago’s Wrigley Field as part of the “Joanne” world tour.

It wasn’t clear if Gaga was aware of Kinney’s presence among the audience that night, but many little monsters grabbed the chance to take selfies with the actor. Some even posted on social media that they are hoping for Gaga and Kinney to rekindle their romance.

Unfortunately, Gaga seems to have no plans to welcome Kinney back to her side at the moment. As of late, the “Bad Romance” singer is happily dating her agent, Christian Carino. The two were spotted packing on some major PDA a couple of times since they went public with their romantic relationship back in February.

Gaga and Kinney dated for five years. They got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2015, but headed to splitsville in July 2016. Despite the breakup, Gaga maintained that she will always have love for her ex. “It’s just about life changes, and we all go through different stages and we’re focused on different things,” she said during her interview on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show.

Meanwhile, Gaga has teased that she’s thinking of putting out a new album following the success of her fifth LP, “Joanne.” “I have a lot of ideas and a lot of things I want to create, so you’ll see in a bit,” Gaga told Entertainment Weekly earlier this week. “I need some time to create.”
