Lady Gaga Fan Complains ‘A Star Is Born’ Movie Staff Treated Them Poorly
There appears to be some drama on the set of Lady Gaga’s “A Star Is Born.” When some scenes for Mother Monster’s upcoming movie were filmed on Monday, some fans were reportedly treated poorly by the production staff and crew that a few of them passed out while showing their support for the Hollywood singer-actress.
Lady Gaga recently shared a teaser photo of herself singing into the microphone while actor Bradley Cooper plays the guitar beside her. The “Bad Romance” hitmaker shared in the caption that she’s excited to finally star as the lead in a film, and she’s grateful that her good friend Cooper is part of the project. She also teased fans that she can’t wait until they finally meet her version of Ally in the Warner Bros. remake.
While many of her fans were pleased and left her positive messages regarding her new big screen project, one fan revealed why she’s not visiting the set of the movie again. According to Michelle Jeffers, her experience on set was terrible because she and other fans stood for hours “in the scorching heat with little water,” and the staff only provided them with hot water to drink. She further revealed that some fans passed out due to heat exhaustion, so they were rushed to nearby health facilities in ambulances. In the end, Jeffers said, “Staff needs to fix this situation. This is no way to treat your fans.”

It wasn’t clear if Lady Gaga herself was aware of the situation that day. From the looks of things, she may have not known about the incident that took place on the set as she was focused on filming her scenes with Cooper. The stars were even photographed passionately locking lips at a gas station in Los Angeles for the flick, according to Entertainment Tonight.
The upcoming movie is a remake of Barbra Streisand’s 1976 classic. While Lady Gaga is portraying aspiring singer Ally, Cooper is playing the alcoholic country music star Jackson Maine. Cooper is also making his directorial debut with this project.
