Lady Gaga Naked In New Ad For Perfume ?Fame? Made of ?Blood And Semen? [PHOTO]
Lady Gaga, known for wearing bizarre get-ups from a meat dress to a lace mask, is trying out a new look for the first ad for her perfume Fame and this time it's her birthday suit.
Gaga, 26, is seen in the advertisement completely naked, aside from some little men superimposed on her nude photo crawling up her body. The photo shows the Mother Monster masked posed lying down with one arm above her head and another holding the fragrance, which she initially said was made out of blood and semen.
Sounds decadent right?
It all started last year when Gaga was a guest on a popular Australian radio, The Kyle and Jackie O Show, having said her fragrance would be made of blood and semen and smell like an expensive hooker.
[Blood and semen] is in the perfume, but it doesn't smell like it. You just get sort of the after feeling of sex from the semen and the blood is sort of primal. And the blood was taken from my own blood sample, so it's like a sense of having me on your skin, she said.
Turns out the perfume is actually built on three main accords: dark, sensual and light and made from tears of belladonna, crushed heart of tiger orchidea with a black veil of incense, pulverized apricot and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops. Known as The First Ever Black Eau de Parfum, the perfume appears black but turns clear once it is spritzed, according to WWD.
The photo was shot by noted photographer Steven Klein, who has worked with Madonna in the past, and released by Gaga on Monday.
I won't lie I'm a bit nervous., Gaga tweeted Monday. It's been a while since Ive shared some work with you. But I'm so proud of Steven [Klein, the photographer] +I, we really did not sleep!
Lady Gaga Fame will appear in the September issues of fashion magazines in August as well as a television commercial and three-minute film as part of the perfume's promotion.
Her fragrance will hit stores and beauty counters in September.
