Lady Gaga Reminisces On Engagement To Christian Carino During Performance
Lady Gaga reminisced about being engaged to Christian Carino during her performance Sunday night.
Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stafani Germanotta, addressed the audience during her "Jazz & Piano" show in Las Vegas. According to E! News, before singing her song "Someone To Watch Over Me", Gaga said, "Last time I sang this song, I had a ring on my finger, so it'll be different this time".
Lady Gaga was previously engaged to Carino. Speculation of their breakup swirled earlier this year before Gaga's rep confirmed in February that the couple of two years was no longer together. While a reason for the breakup was never confirmed, it has been suspected that jealousy ended the engagement.
The nine-time Grammy award-winner currently has two shows, "Lady Gaga Enigma" and "Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano", as part of her Las Vegas Residency at the Park Theater inside Park MGM resort in Las Vegas. The MGM resort describes "Lady Gaga Enigma" as "a brand-new odyssey of her pop hits" while "Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano" features the singer performing "stripped-down versions of her hits alongside music from the Great American Songbook."
