Lady Gaga chose to perform the hit song “Shallow” with Mark Ronson at the 2019 Grammys. The rock number is from her new film, “A Star is Born.” The song was nominated in four categories, including song of the year and record of the year.

Wearing a bedazzled jumpsuit, Gaga belted out the song with a full rock band to support her on stage. According to Rolling Stone, “A Star Is Born” director Bradley Cooper was missing, but he will join her on stage during the 2019 Oscars to perform the same song together.

The song “Shallow” won the best original song award at the Golden Globes and is nominated at the Academy Awards. Lady Gaga’s performance at the Grammys, however, got some mixed reactions from fans online.

Some fans who watched Gaga’s performance were amused by her moves. A compilation of all the Twitter reactions on Cosmopolitan showed some of the funny reactions people had on the social media platform. While some netizens suggested that the singer showed too much excitement and overperformed the song, others felt that her moves were just “weird.” Many of the fans, however, still feel that the song was good in the movie.

While some of the fans were not happy about Gaga’s performance, the singer won a lot of praise from critics. In a ranking of the 2019 Grammys performances on Cnet, the singer landed on the fourth spot among the top 17 performances.

Critics pointed out that Gaga has always come up with some experimental dance moves. The main theme of “Shallow” is about how people should be happy in the modern world. Some of the fans who have been critical of the singer’s Grammys 2019 performance also admitted that her style over the past decade has been anything but normal.
