Lady Gaga Shows Off Latest Avatar at VMAs: Weirdness Surpassed Nicky Minaj? (PHOTOS)

Did Lady gaga start panicking this time with Nicky Minaj stealing away the attention from her by dressing even more weirdly?

Well we don’t think so. If Minaj is getting weirder, Gaga is getting manlier. That’s no joke! Lady gaga stepped on to the red carpet this Sunday evening in her latest avatar at the Video Music Awards.

Lady Gaga was dressed as her male alter-ego, Jo Calderone, smoking cigarettes before performing You and I, whereas a colorful Minaj was dressed in what can be described as a metal dress with a pink tutu that she combined with colorful socks and leg warmers. She got heads turning and managed to grab eyeballs with an ice-cream necklace, a Japanese face mask and a pink, yellow and orange wig, reports acesshobiz.com.

Nicki Minaj won a number of awards along with the Best Hip-Hop video award for her club-hit Super Bass and Gaga won the Best Female Video Award for Born This Way.
