Mother monster, Lady Gaga, was in New York City to promote her latest album Born This Way. The album was released on Monday, May 23 and the international pop star hosted an album signing event at Best Buy in New York City. Lady Gaga recently topped the Forbes Celebrity 100 list of the most powerful people in the entertainment business. She knocked Oprah down to second place. Forbes reported that Lady Gaga won the top spot this year due to her 32 million Facebook fans, 10 million Twitter followers and $90 million she earned while touring. Lady Gaga also had 1 million digital downloads for her single Born This Way in a matter of five days. Prior to the release of the album, Lady Gaga had released a number of singles off of it, including Born This Way, Judas, Edge of Glory, Hair, and You and I.
