Lamar Odom On Khloé Kardashian Relationship Status Post-Divorce: ‘We Don’t Really Talk Any Longer’

Lamar Odom has opened up about his present-day relationship status with ex-wife Khloé Kardashian more than four years after their divorce was finalized.

In an interview on SiriusXM’s “Radio Andy” Monday, the 41-year-old former professional basketball player revealed that he and Khloé are no longer on speaking terms at present, and it’s mostly because of him.

“Unfortunately, you know, due to my behavior and some bad decisions, we don’t really talk any longer,” Odom said before noting that he misses the Kardashian-Jenner clan “tremendously.”

The former NBA star then expressed his desire to be forgiven by Kardashian’s family for the things he has done. “We have to live with the decisions that we make and then, hopefully in time people heal and [will] be able to forgive me,” he said.

Odom went on to admit that he misses the “genuine” love they showed him and he values the moments they got to spend together when he was still married to the 36-year-old reality star.

“Of course, anyone’s always gonna miss love. That’s genuine. You know, the personalities, just spending time with them, it was one of the best times in my adult life,” he said.

Even though they don’t talk to each other, Odom still cares for Kardashian. He previously told Us Weekly that he would love “to remain her friend” once the dust settles and he is proud of his ex for being a mother, referring to the latter’s 3-year-old daughter, True, with partner Tristan Thompson, 30.

Odom and Kardashian tied the knot in September 2009. The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star filed for divorce four years later in December 2013. However, she withdrew the papers when Odom had a near-fatal overdose in 2015. She filed for divorce the second time in May 2016 and it was finalized in December that same year.

The former athlete’s interview comes days after his ex-wife was spotted attending a party that Kendall Jenner threw at celeb hotspot The Nice Guy in West Hollywood in celebration of the launch of the 25-year-old model’s new business venture, 818 Tequila.

Kardashian was accompanied by her sisters Kim Kardashian West and Kylie Jenner to the party. Their famous momager, Kris Jenner, was also in attendance, according to Entertainment Tonight.
