Lamar Odom Regrets Losing Friendship With Rob Kardashian; Will He Get Back Together With Ex Khloe?

Lamar Odom regrets losing two people as a result of his past addictions: his ex-wife, Khloe Kardashian, and the reality TV star’s brother, Rob Kardashian.

While speaking with Wendy Williams on “The Wendy Williams Show,” Odom admitted that it was very difficult to lose Rob since they developed a very close relationship with each other. “He has a child. I haven’t met his child or anything,” he said. When asked why he is no longer in speaking terms with the dad of one, Odom said, “I don’t know. I guess maybe it’s because I hurt his sister too much. I have no idea. If she was my sister, I would have a problem with me too.”

Odom also opened up about his ex-wife and said that he no longer wants to get back together with her. However, the former athlete clarified that he doesn’t mean his statement offensively. Instead, the two of them just know for a fact that keeping their distance from each other is what’s best.

The estranged couple tied the knot in September 2009, but their marriage did not last due to Odom’s cheating scandal and drug addiction. In 2013, Khloe filed for divorce from her ex-husband, but called it off after he suffered from an overdose incident in 2015. According to People, Odom almost lost his life after he overdosed on cocaine and opiates. He also suffered from multiple strokes that left his comatose.

A source told the publication at that time, “Lamar is still fighting. It’s a waiting game right now. The first 48 hours will tell a lot.” Odom eventually recovered from the incident and has, since then, sought professional help. Earlier this year, Odom talked about the incident during his first sit-down interview with “The Doctor” star Dr. Travis Stork.

“I wasn’t in a good place mentally before the incident happened. My wife at the time, we were going through some things. And I was in a dark place,” he shared.

Last year, Khloe also shared her thoughts regarding Odom’s cheating scandal and confirmed that she was worried about acquiring STD. “I went and got checked. I’m clean, thank God,” she said.
