- Rhoades said one of her past boyfriends had been involved in drugs
- Her ex-boyfriend had threatened her into selling drugs during the holidays
Lana Rhoades recently opened up about one of her previous relationships before she met boyfriend Mike Majlak, describing it as a dating horror story.
In the first episode of Rhoades, Olivia Davis and Alexa Adams' cooking show "3 Girls 1 Kitchen," the three hosts discussed relationships while talking about the former porn star and Majlak's brief split last month. When Davis asked if any of them have broken up with a partner during the holidays, Rhoades said she had a "crazy story" to share.
"One that I've never shared with anyone, but I think it's been five years and it's past the limit of...," Rhoades began, before Davis chimed in, "statute of limitations."
"Basically, I had a boyfriend and he was a confidential informant. And I didn't know," the 24-year-old ex-adult entertainer continued. "And everything was going great, I thought he was the one for me and I thought that we were perfect together and then one day, he goes, 'I'm gonna get killed by the Mexican drug cartel.'"
Rhoades said she was shocked to hear her then-boyfriend's confession because he never took drugs or talked about it in front of her. She recalled that he had slammed the car and cried after making the admission.
"I thought I was dating like the most straight edge guy ever," she said.
According to Rhoades, her ex told her at the time that he needed more drugs to replace what was lost and asked her if she knew anyone who could help. However, she said she had no idea as she has never touched these.
It ended up with her ex-boyfriend sourcing drugs and asking her if she could sell them. He then tried to manipulate Rhoades by threatening suicide if she refuses him, making this demand a day before Christmas. The social media star recalled crying because she didn't want to do it, having just turned 18 and gotten out of prison.
Rhoades admitted that she was eventually forced to give in to her boyfriend's threats and ended up selling the drugs to an undercover cop the first time she tried it. She later told police the whole story and handed them everything her ex-boyfriend gave her after she was told that she might have been set up.
The former porn star clarified that she was not arrested, saying, "Basically because I had given them all the drugs, and I made them take it, they believe me. ... And it's been five years so I can talk about this."
Rhoades said she had been so depressed at the time that she didn’t want to see anyone. She just went to CVS, bought herself Christmas chocolates and ate them in her room.
At present, Rhoades is in a happy relationship with her YouTuber boyfriend, whom she has been dating since they met in January. They split in October but reunited just a week later, with Majlak taking the blame for making a “sudden decision.”
