Larsa Pippen is asking everyone not to judge her after photos of her holding hands with married NBA star Malik Beasley surfaced, prompting his wife, Montana Yao, to file for divorce.
Pippen, 46, made headlines this week after she and Beasley, 24, were spotted strolling hand-in-hand at a Miami mall and flirtatious comments the Minnesota Timberwolves player left on her social media posts caught the attention of netizens. But the ex-wife of Scottie Pippen has now taken to Instagram with a response to those criticizing her.
"Don’t judge me until you know me. Don’t underestimate me unless you challenge me. And don’t talk about me until you’ve talked to me," she wrote on her Instagram Stories Friday, Page Six reported.
The "Real Housewives of Miami" alum also shared a cryptic post Wednesday that appeared to be aimed at her critics.
"Don't always trust what you see on social media. Even salt looks like sugar," Pippen wrote on Instagram Story.
After photos of her husband and Pippen's Nov. 23 outing went viral, Yao, who shares son Makai with Beasley, immediately filed for divorce from the NBA player, E! News reported.
"Montana filed for a divorce the day she saw the photos," an unnamed source told the outlet. "Montana never cheated, and it's not in her character. She's not dating anybody. She's a family person. She's focusing on taking care of her son with her parents. They are quarantining together. Her son is her first priority."
The Instagram model has also since broken her silence over her husband's affair, writing on Instagram: "Wow… I don’t even know this man. This is wild y’all I’m seeing it for the first time just like y’all."
Meanwhile, Pippen also made headlines due to her connection with another NBA star prior to her scandal with Beasley. The former Kardashian-Jenner family friend claimed last month that she dated Tristan Thompson first before Khloe Kardashian.
"[I] was kinda seeing Tristan before Khloé," she told the “Hollywood Raw” podcast. "Before Khloé or any of them knew he existed. I was seeing him, I had him come to L.A., I brought him to a party Kim had. I introduced him to all of them."
However, Pippen claimed Thompson ditched her just a couple of days after she introduced him to the "Revenge Body" star. But she denied rumors claiming that she and the NBA player had a fling after he got into a relationship with Kardashian.
"I would never do that. That’s not even my personality," she said, before adding, "I applaud [Khloé and Tristan] for working things out. I think it’s great they are trying to work on their relationship. I’m really proud of them."
