'The Last Kingdom' Season 4: Cnut Is Back And Ready For Battle
New behind-the-scenes pictures from the set of “The Last Kingdom” Season 4 have surfaced online. The new character Cnut (Magnus Bruun) will be back, and the pictures from Budapest show that the character will be involved in a big battle sequence.
A behind-the-scenes picture from the production set posted on the official Twitter page of “The Last Kingdom” TV series shows Brunn relaxing near the trailers of the actors. The actor can be seen wearing a black t-shirt, red shorts, and sunglasses, but he is in full makeup.
Brunn flew back to his family during the weekend, but he revealed on Twitter that he had been filming battle sequences last week. The actor also teased that he will be in “beastmode” again when he is back in Budapest, suggesting that he will be involved in filming a few more action sequences this week.
The picture that Brunn shared online showed signs of blood in the makeup. It remains to be seen what kind of an action sequence his character will be involved in, and who Cnut will be fighting in “The Last Kingdom” Season 4.
While the cast members have to film a lot of action sequences and scenes that involve intense emotions, they also make time to have some fun on the set. Another behind-the-scenes picture from the production set showed Aethelflaed actress Millie Brady and Finan actor Mark Rowley having some fun during a filming break.
Brady and Rowley took a selfie with their umbrellas, which means that it was raining on that day on the set. The background, however, suggests that the production continued despite the rain.
Aethelflaed’s costume this time around includes a sword. It remains to be seen if she will get to use it, as she emerges as a powerful character on the show as a leader of her kingdom.
While the filming of “The Last Kingdom” Season 4 continues, the producers are yet to announce an exact release date. The announcement may be made soon after the filming wraps.
