Lata Mangaeshkar Tweets Good Health, Slashes Rumors of Illness

Veteran Bollywood singer Lata Mangeshkar has tweeted, slashing rumors that she is in a critical condition.

The Nightingale of India was rumored to be in a critical health condition and there were even claims that the singer had already breathed her last. The word has spread like wildfire in almost no time over the Internet since Thursday and left her fans across the world worried about the timeless singer.

Namaskar. Pls don't believe any rumors which are doing the rounds about my health & well-being. All is well, by the Grace of God, the singer tweeted Friday night.

Following that, she tweeted again on Feb 3: Sharing some thoughts which i read with my Twitter family: If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. Lata Mangeshkar celebrated her 82nd birthday last year and her old age has given reasons for her fans to be worried about her health. She is not the only one to be a victim of celebrity death hoax.
