All the wheels are rolling with Christopher Nolan's latest Batman trilogy The Dark Knight Rises. The recent new casting of Christopher Judge has had fans guessing which role he will play. No confirmation yet whether he will portray a villain or hero in an already exciting list of Batman characters in production. The latest teaser trailer showcased more images of the dark knight along with his arch nemesis Bane.
The latest list collects returning and new characters from Nolan's previous films 'Batman Begins' and 'The Dark Knight.' The Dark Knight Rises adds additional heroes such as John Blake, played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Catwoman, played by Anne Hathaway.
Catwoman's role remains uncertain and she may instead fall into the villains list joining the muscle infused Bane, played by Tom Hardy, and Ra's al Ghul. Ra's al Ghul appears in two forms, a younger and older version. The older al Ghul would be portrayed by Liam Neeson, while actor Josh Pence plays the younger version.
What remains certain is the flagship class of heroes that will reprise their roles in Nolan's third installment. Alfred Pennyworth, Commissioner Jim Gordon, and CEO Lucius Fox will return to combat evil by aiding Batman aka Bruce Wayne.
