[LATEST PICTURES] Celebrities at the Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene Royal Monaco wedding

The royal wedding of Prince Albert II of Monaco with his lady-love Charlene Wittstock was attended by some of the most famous personalities, world leaders, diplomats, royals and celebrities from across the world.

While some 700-800 guests were present at the religious wedding ceremonies that took place on the 2nd of July, the citizens of the principality witnessed the occasion live on giant screens set up outside the palace.

Included in the guest lists were names like French President Nicolas Sarkozy; designer Karl Lagerfeld; the king and queen of Sweden; as well as their three children; Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel; Princess Madeleine and Prince Carl Philip among others.

Wittstock met Prince Albert II in 2000 while travelling to Monaco for a swimming competition. Since February 2006, the couple was often seen together on various occasions and in June 2010, the two were officially engaged.
