Fin and Esposito's character apparently go way back, having worked together in Narcotics about 20 years ago, according to TV Line. The team gets reports of "secret sex clubs" where multiple women have been killed, and they speculate that the case may be one related to trafficking. Fin offers to call an old friend who could help them with the case, and one scene shows them sharing a drink as they meet and catch up.

The trailer also seems to hint that someone in the team may have betrayed them and tipped off the perpetrators. Will Olivia Benson and the rest of the team manage to catch them before they erase all traces of their trail? Fans will have to tune in to the episode to find out.

With Rollins (Kelli Giddish) likely on maternity leave for a while, "Law & Order: SVU" may be taking the chance to explore the backstories of the other characters.
