'League of Legends': Magma Chamber Map Coming [PHOTOS]
Riot Games, developer of the highly popular MOBA game "League of Legends," will release a scaled-down version of "Magma Chamber," which was originally supposed to be a 5 vs. 5 map until Riot seemingly scrapped it. Now, a post on Riot Games' site has confirmed that Magma Chamber will be released prior to the start of Season 4, whose start date has yet to be announced.
Now for some details. Magma Chamber will be a 1 vs. 1 map, the first of its kind in "League of Legends." No ganking, no dogpiles, no getting caught by three enemies by wandering in a bush. It's all on you.
Professional gamers will get to take their first cracks at Magma Chamber during All-Star Week, which begins Friday in Shanghai. Magma Chamber matches during All-Star Week can be won in one of three ways: kill 100 minions, destroy the enemy turret or get first blood. This only maximizes the strategic approaches one could take when playing a game in Magma Chamber.
