Leaked Redmi K30 Major Feature Beats OnePlus 7T Pro
The Xiaomi Redmi K30 is one of the highly anticipated smartphones releasing this year or in 2020. It is also the subject of many speculations, leaks, and rumors. A new rumor about Redmi’s upcoming smartphone recently surfaced online, revealing that it will have a significant OnePlus-killing feature and could surpass one of the best features of OnePlus 7T Pro.
A mystery device was recently spotted to have passed through China’s 3C certification. The device has a 33 percent faster refresh rate compared to that of OnePlus 7T Pro. Based on the certification, the smartphone has a model number of M2001G7AE and is speculated to be the much-awaited follow-up to the popular Redmi K20, which is the Redmi K30.
DroidShout first spotted the device’s certification, which revealed that the device is described as a digital mobile phone with a 30W charger. If this is indeed the Redmi K30, fans can anticipate a Redmi handset that backs 5G network and some serious charging speed. Additionally, the device will reportedly sport a couple of punch-hole front cameras in the top right portion of the display with an industry-leading 120 Hz refresh rate.
The refresh rate of the Redmi K30 is 33 percent faster than that of OnePlus 7T Pro, which lags at 90 Hz. OnePlus launched the device in October, and one of its major features is its extremely fast 90Hz refresh rate. The 90 Hz refresh rate will allow a smooth use of the device, especially to online mobile gamers, reveals Trusted Reviews.
Higher polling and refresh rates cut the amount of delay between the user executing a command and the command playing out on the screen, the site explains. Although there are smartphones equipped with a much faster refresh rate as the Razer Phone 2, most of them are intended as gaming phones, so Redmi getting this exciting feature as a mid-range smartphone is pretty impressive. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun reportedly confirmed at the Xiaomi Developers Conference earlier this month that the Redmi K30 will be released in Dec. 2019.
But, the Redmi K30 Pro, its slightly advanced sibling, is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2020. So far, there is no confirmed official release date for both Redmi k30 and Redmi K30 Pro. But, if the rumors are right, it is only a matter of time that we will finally see this much-awaited revolutionary smartphone series.
