KEY POINTS

- Another leak provides release date windows for some exciting titles
New leaks reveal information PlayStation fans will really like as it involves stock updates for the PS5 as well as the list of potential games that could be released for the PS4 and PS5 every month. Here’s a quick look at the details.
Leakers have revealed that fans may have a better chance of getting their hands on the new PlayStation 5 in the coming months. This comes after stocks of the highly anticipated console continually ran out after it was launched in the market in November.
A Twitter tipster called PS5 UK Stock – Instant Updates recently announced that “Sony’s official estimate is 3 Million PS5s hitting store shelves worldwide every month until April (range 2.4-3.7M).” This means more consumers will have the opportunity to score for themselves the latest and greatest PlayStation console yet.
The leaker, in a subsequent tweet posted in response to a question, said the information comes from Sony itself, meaning the leak carries substantial weight. “Substantial” in the sense that the leaker didn’t present a document or link proving it did come from the entertainment company. Nonetheless, time will tell if the claim is real.
The leaker also announced in the original tweet that a “PS5 giveaway” will be hosted “by the end of tomorrow.” Considering the tweet was posted Monday, it means players should expect the giveaway to happen this Tuesday.
Titles leaked as well
Another leaker – a prominent Twitter tipster who goes by the name Nibellion – also posted a thread indicating the games that players should expect to become available, along with the months they are set to arrive. The leak was first reported by Push Square.
According to the leak, players should expect the following games in the coming months (or year):
“Kena: Bridge of Spirits” – March
This indie game is so highly anticipated it was featured as Game Informer magazine’s cover story last year. It was first featured in the PS5 reveal event.
“Solar Ash” – June
This game is developed by Heart Machine – the same people behind “Hyper Light Drifter.”
“Little Devil Inside” – July
This PS5-exclusive title is an action-adventure RPG with survival elements set in a “semi-open” world.
“Ghostwire: Tokyo” – October
This is a first-person action game set in futuristic Tokyo. It lets players take advantage of a full arsenal of weapons against “otherworldly threats.”
“Stray” – October
This lets players enjoy an immersive adventure in a Cyberpunk world – as a cat.
“Project Athia” – January 2022
This console exclusive lets players embark on a dangerous adventure set in a vast open world.
“Pragmata” – sometime in 2023
This all-new action adventure title “depicts a near-future dystopian world on the moon through a deeply profound story and setting,” Push Square reported.
Nibellion also announced that the first DLC for “Hitman III” will arrive “Januray,” which is apparently “January” but spelled wrongly.
The leaker didn’t provide the release year, so it’s safe to assume that if it doesn’t arrive this month, it’ll arrive next year.
