Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James will be on hand at the official launch his newest shoe on Friday, athletic footwear maker Nike Inc. said today.

James will appear at a press event from his hometown in Akron, Ohio to officially unveil the Nike Air Max LeBron VII.

He will answer questions live online. Also in attendance will be Nike shoe designer Jason Petrie and comedian Kenan Thompson, who will host.
