Lee Dong-Wook Looks Handsome In Latest Photoshoot, Opens Up About His Career

South Korean actor Lee Dong-Wook opened up about his career over the years and the challenges he faced while filming amidst the coronavirus pandemic during a photoshoot and interview for "Arena Home Plus" magazine.
The 39-year-old star who looked absolutely handsome in the photoshoot mentioned that he has decided to take a break after taking on numerous projects since the success and popularity of the hit 2016 South Korean TV series "Goblin."
"For the past few years, I worked almost like an idol. Idols are busy all year round. They release albums and prepare for concerts, but they are also always doing something out of the public eye. I learned how to relate to when they said, ‘I’m so happy to have a week off.’ I was like that," Lee tweeted.
Lee, who played the role of a Grim Reaper in "Goblin" which is also popularly known as "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God," shared that he’s been working on projects without a break for the past four years.
"I went on an Asian tour of seven countries in 2017. I had fun performing, and at first, I always knew where I was, but then it began to blur together. 2019 was a really busy year for me," Lee told the interviewer, according to Soompi.
The actors starred as the main lead in the 2019 drama titled "Touch Your Heart." He was also the MC for "Produce X 101," a South Korean boy group survival reality show. The talented actor also starred in the webtoon-based series "Strangers from Hell" the same year.
Soon after, he began filming for "Tale of the Nine-Tailed," another hit drama that released in 2020. He also revealed that he recently wrapped up the shooting for his upcoming movie "Single in Seoul."
When asked about dramas being pre-produced more often in recent days, Lee expressed that the changes would benefit the actors and the production team, allowing them to get proper rest during their filming schedules.
"I think that it’s right for things to change. I’m from the past generation. I’ve been doing this job since 1999. I’ve stayed up countless nights and worked countless brutal schedules," Lee said as per Soompi.
"As the system changed, actors could rest for about one day per week, and sleep about six or seven hours a night. It’s not just the actors, but also the production staff got some breathing room. I think that this is a good development," he added.
While talking about the changes in his workplace environment, the "Hotel King" star revealed that celebrities are no exception to wearing masks, adding that they only take it off when the camera is on. He also mentioned that scouting locations for filming which was fairly easy in the past have become more difficult amidst the pandemic.
