‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ Season 2 Spoilers: The Legends Fight Civil War Zombies In Episode 4, ‘Abominations’
The Legends face an army of zombies in Season 2, episode 4 of “Legends of Tomorrow.”
According to the synopsis for the episode, titled “Abominations,” the time-traveling heroes find themselves in an apocalyptic situation of sorts when they discover a time aberration in 1863. Upon arriving in the Civil War period, the Legends are welcomed by Confederate soldiers who have all been turned into zombies.
This army of undead was first seen in the extended “Out of Time” trailer for the new season of the CW series. In the promo clip, the Civil War zombies are seen heading towards Nate (Nick Zano), Jax (Franz Drameh) and Stein (Victor Garber), who is obviously terrified by the approaching zombies.
Even though it’s unclear how the Legends are going to survive the zombie-infested timeframe, the synopsis for the episode suggests that the fate of the group as well as the preservation of history greatly depends on the result of Jax and Amaya’s (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) daring mission involving a slave plantation.
The synopsis also suggests that Rip (Arthur Darvill) hasn’t returned to the Waverider yet after going MIA since the atomic bomb hit their time ship in 1942. The episode summary confirms that Sara (Caity Lotz) has taken over Rip’s position as the captain of the ship, but the former assassin starts to feel the burden of the decisions she has to make as the leader.
Meanwhile, Ray (Brandon Routh) struggles to find his purpose on the team.
“Abominations” airs on Thursday, Nov. 3, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. Next week’s episode of “Legends of Tomorrow,” titled “Justice Society of America,” airs on Oct. 20. Check out the synopsis for Season 2, episode 2 below:
“The Legends travel to Nazi-occupied Paris, but find themselves surrounded by the Justice Society of America (JSA). The Legends discover a time aberration that threatens the JSA, but the JSA wants nothing to do with them or their help. Nevertheless, the Legends force their way into the JSA’s mission to intercept and seize a mysterious package. Nate is desperate to prove that he should be part of the team, but he has a secret that he shares with his grandfather Commander Steel (Matthew MacCaull) that might make it difficult. Ray is so focused on impressing the JSA, he puts himself and Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) in danger. Meanwhile, Stein has stepped in as the leader with Rip gone, but when decisions aren’t being made Sara seems to be the one calling the shots.”
