‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ Season 2 Star Franz Drameh Remembers Bill Paxton [PHOTO]

Franz Drameh was heartbroken by Bill Paxton’s death.

Drameh, who plays Jax Jefferson/one-half of Firestorm on “Legends of Tomorrow,” took to social media to pay tribute to Paxton, who passed away on Saturday, Feb. 25.

In a recent Instagram post, Drameh called Paxton a “legend” and revealed that he was honored to have worked with the Golden Globe-nominated actor.

In a couple of tweets, Drameh wrote that Paxton was one of the realest guys he had the pleasure to call a friend. The young British actor also remembered Paxton’s cheerful attitude, noting that any room became a better place the moment Paxton walked in.

Drameh and Paxton both appeared in the 2014 military science fiction film “Edge of Tomorrow,” which also starred Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. Drameh played Ford in the Doug Liman-directed flick, while Paxton portrayed the role of Master Sergeant Farell.

Paxton died at age 61 during a surgery. “It is with heavy hearts we share the news that Bill Paxton has passed away due to complications from surgery,” reads a statement from a representative for the actor’s family. “A loving husband and father, Bill began his career in Hollywood working on films in the art department and went on to have an illustrious career spanning four decades as a beloved and prolific actor and filmmaker. Bill’s passion for the arts was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth and tireless energy were undeniable. We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their adored husband and father.”

The rep didn’t reveal what surgery Paxton was undergoing or share details about the complications that caused his death.

Paxton, who currently stars as Det. Frank Rourke on CBS’ “Training Day,” is survived by his son James, 23, and daughter Lydia, 19. Paxton will posthumously appear in the thriller “The Circle,” which also stars Emma Watson, Tom Hanks and John Boyega, among many others. The James Ponsoldt-directed film opens in theaters on April 28.
