The Legends are going to face off against Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and his new group of time masters in Season 3 of “Legends of Tomorrow.”

According to the synopsis for the upcoming season of the CW series, Rip establishes the Time Bureau, a new group of timeline-protecting individuals who don’t approve the Legends’ methods of policing time. With the Time Bureau effectively the new sheriffs in town, the Legends go their separate ways – until Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell) bumps into Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) while in the middle of his well-deserved vacation in Aruba. Seeing the chance meeting as an opportunity to resume their time-traveling heroics, Sara quickly gets the Legends back together.

Once reunited, the Legends — which also includes Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), Nate Heywood (Nick Zano), Professor Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Jefferson “Jax” Jackson (Franz Drameh) — challenge the Time Bureau’s authority over the timeline and insist that however disordered their methods may be, some problems are beyond the Bureau’s capabilities and can only be fixed by them.
