LEGO Ideas is set to release a replica of the McCallister family home from the 1990 hit movie “Home Alone.”

The home, which is modeled after the residence where Kevin McCallister set up traps for pesky burglars, will be the largest LEGO Ideas set and consist of 3,955 pieces.

The model will feature the same exterior and interior layout seen in the holiday movie, including the ground and first floor, basement, kitchen, and attic.

Builders will also be able to relive some of Kevin’s famous antics such as the bathroom scene where he screams from putting on after-shave, the paint cans used to knock out the robbers, the treehouse with the zipline, Buzz’s pet tarantula, and more.

The idea for the “Home Alone” model came from LEGO fan Alex Storozhu. Antica Bracanov, a LEGO Designer, was in charge of turning Storozhu’s idea into a set.

“Bringing Alex’s Home Alone house to life has been brilliant fun. He’d thought about every aspect, from the layout of the rooms to the use of color and of course the details from the movie to make it instantly recognizable,” she said.

“Following the themes of the film, we wanted to make the experience as immersive as possible for fans of LEGO building and the movie.”

The packaging of the set is also designed to give builders a unique experience that mirrors Kevin’s journey in the movie. Thanks to the 24 build bags, the Lego set can be treated like an advent calendar.

The sequence allows builders to start by meeting the robbers and building their van and ends with Kevin reuniting with his mother Kate McCallister.

LEGO fans will be able to order the “Home Alone” set online or pick it up in stores beginning Nov. 1.

The LEGO “Home Alone” set will retail for $249.99 and will be recommended for users ages 18 and older.
