Leonardo DiCaprio recently joined the long list of celebrities who have come out in support of the 'Black lives matter' movement. He pledged support to end the 'disenfranchisement of Black America' in the wake of George Floyd’s death.

The Oscar-winning actor took to Instagram and Twitter Thursday (June 4) where he showed his support for the ongoing protests and black lives matter march.
The 45-year-old-actor wrote on Instagram: “I commit to listen, learn, and take actions. I am dedicated to ending the disenfranchisement of Black America, that has been present for too long. I will support those individuals, organizations, and coalitions that are committed to bringing about long-term change.”
In the post, DiCaprio listed four organizations where he will be personally donating and urged the people to come forward, join him and learn from them.
Massive protests and rage sparked across the U.S. after the killing of George Floyd, an African-American man, on May 25. He died in police custody after a Minessota police officer, Derek Chauvin, knelt on his neck for more than eight minutes.
Chauvin and the other three officers involved in the killing of Floyd have been charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter by a Minnesota court.
