'Les Revenants' Season 2 Finale Synopsis And Promo Video Released; What Will Happen On SundanceTV's 'The Returned'?

Season 2 of “The Returned” has been an absolutely wild ride. While the SundanceTV series answered some questions from Season 1, the French show, also known as “Les Revenants,” managed to set up even more mysteries during its sophomore run. Unfortunately for fans that can’t get enough, episode 8 marks the final episode of the season.

The Season 2 finale is titled “The Returned” and will find the S é guret family attempting to flee their small mountain town after escaping from the police station. But that’s easier said than done. The family wants a fresh start now that Camille (Yara Pilartz) is back -- however, “Camille knows she cannot stay with her loved ones.”

Elsewhere, Victor (Swann Nambotin) will finally figure out how to save Julie (C é line Sallette) from whatever tragic ending she has coming her way. Despite loving the woman that took care of him and followed him to the flood zone, Victor realizes that “the only way to save Julie’s life is to abandon her.”

But is Victor the one that needs to be saved? The promo video for “Les Revenants” season 2 finale shows Victor with his eyes closed inside a house. Meanwhile, outside the windows, the returned quietly surround him.
