‘Lethal Weapon’: Kristen Gutoskie Returns As Molly In Season 2, Episode 17

Riggs tries to reconnect with Molly in next week’s episode of “Lethal Weapon.”

According to the synopsis for Season 2, episode 17 of the Fox buddy cop drama, Riggs reaches back to Molly (Kristen Gutoskie) but struggles to rekindle their relationship.

As fans will remember, Riggs ghosted Molly and her son Ben (Duncan Joiner) in Season 2, episode 11 after finding out that Riggs’ father Nathan Riggs (Rex Linn) knows about his relationship with the mother and son duo.

In the episode, Riggs discovered that Nathan had someone kill Ben’s innocent puppy just to get Riggs’ attention. And since Riggs knows that his dad is capable of doing much worse things, the police detective decided to distance himself from Molly and Ben to ensure their safety. But since Molly isn’t privy to all these, it wouldn’t be surprising if she no longer wants Riggs to go back to their lives.

Elsewhere in the episode, Trish (Keesha Sharp) tries to close a big deal at work as she gives Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) one last chance to make it up to her.

In the trailer for the hour, Captain Avery (Kevin Rahm) visits Trish to seemingly pressure her into reconciling with her husband. “Roger is miserable,” Avery tells Trish. “And he’s making Riggs miserable, which is in turn making me miserable.”

Meanwhile, Murtaugh still has no plans to resolve his marital issues with Trish. “I’m the wronged party,” Murtaugh tells Riggs in the promo clip. “When Trish finally realizes this, she’s going to welcome me back with open arms.”

“And when that might be?” Riggs asks before turning his back to his partner and screaming frustratingly.

Riggs also struggles with sharing his trailer with Murtaugh. In the promo clip, Riggs gets mad when Murtaugh wakes him up early in the morning.

“Good morning, sunshine! Do you like some fresh coffee?” Murtaugh asks.

Riggs, who isn’t used to getting up early, doesn’t utter a word. But he pulls his pocket knife out and pierces Murtaugh’s air mattress.

“Lethal Weapon” Season 2, episode 17, titled “The Odd Couple,” airs on Tuesday, March 6 at 8 p.m. EST on Fox. Watch the trailer for the installment below!
