‘Lethal Weapon’ Season 1 Spoilers: Riggs And Murtaugh Meet Hilarie Burton’s DEA Agent Karen Palmer In Episode 7 Preview Clip

Riggs (Clayne Crawford) and Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) are going to find themselves working with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in next week’s episode of “Lethal Weapon.”

In the preview clip for Season 1, episode 7, Riggs and Murtaugh meet DEA agent Karen Palmer (Hilarie Burton) while investigating a case she’s been working on for a few years now. The DEA agent, however, makes it clear from the very start that she has no interest in teaming up with the crime-solving duo which she both finds reckless.

“I cannot have a couple of cowboys throwing bombs at my investigation just to see what they can blow up,” Karen tells Captain Avery (Kevin Rahm).

According to the official character breakdown obtained by TVLine last September, Karen is described as “tough and smart” and “not afraid to speak her mind.”

The synopsis for the episode revealed that Riggs and Murtaugh become involved in an exceptionally dangerous underground investigation led by Karen when they follow a trail of evidence in the murder of a fashion expeditor.

“You two have no idea what you’ve gotten yourselves into, do you?” Karen tells the pair at one point in preview clip.

Despite Karen’s request to get Riggs and Murtaugh out of the investigation, the latter part of the preview clip shows the duo looking for some sort of drugs. Although they don’t find what they are looking for, the pair discovers a pile of cold cash secretly hidden behind a wall.

Also in the episode, Trish (Keesha Sharp) and the children are off visiting colleges, leaving Murtaugh to a “bender” of his own. Riggs, meanwhile, is having all-too-real dreams of Miranda (Floriana Lima) which give him trouble sleeping through the night.

“Lethal Weapon” Season 1, episode 7 airs on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
