Riggs seeks relationship advice from Murtaugh in next week’s episode of “Lethal Weapon.”

According to the synopsis for Season 2, episode 3 of the Fox series, Riggs (Clayne Crawford) learns the responsibilities that come with being in a relationship with a little help from his partner Murtaugh (Damon Wayans).

The trailer for the episode reveals that Riggs is having some difficulties dealing with his on-again romance with Palmer (Hilarie Burton), so he gives Murtaugh a ring, asking for assistance.

“Hey, Rog. I need your help. I think I’m screwing things with Palmer,” a panicking Riggs tells Murtaugh over the phone.

Not knowing the gravity of the situation, Murtaugh jokingly replies, “Sexually?”

Apparently, that distress call leads to a double date between Riggs, Palmer, Roger and Trish (Keesha Sharp), which — by the looks of it — seems really fun.

As for the case of the week, Riggs and Murtaugh investigate the mysterious death of the bodyguard of the famous singer Shaye (JoJo). Riana (Chandler Kinney) happens to be a huge fan of singer, so Murtaugh turn to his daughter to learn more about the Shaye’s background and uncover possible suspects.

Entertainment Weekly reported last August that Shaye almost gets killed after a mysterious figure from her past drives her car off the road. Riggs and Murtaugh become her temporary bodyguards as they try to solve the case before the baddie makes another move.

JoJo’s guest spot in the episode is the singer’s first major TV acting role after she appeared as Courtney Russell on CBS’ “Hawaii Five-O” back in 2011. Her other small screen acting credits include Fox’s “The Bernie Mac Show” and NBC’s “American Dreams.” The “Baby It’s You” hitmaker — who has sold more than 7 million albums worldwide and was the youngest solo artist ever to have a No. 1 song on the Billboard chart — also appeared in big screen projects like the teen fantasy movie “Aquamarine” and the family comedy flick “RV,” both released in 2006.

“Lethal Weapon” Season 2, episode 3, titled “Born to Run,” airs on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
