‘Let’s Meet Again On Christmas Eve’ Lifetime Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast

“It’s A Wonderful Lifetime” continues with the premiere of the newest holiday film, “Let’s Meet Again On Christmas Eve,” starring Kyla Pratt and Brooks Darnell.

Lifetime fans will recognize Pratt, who previously starred in “The Christmas Pact” and “No Time Like Christmas,” though she may also be known as the voice of Penny Proud on the Disney Channel cartoon “The proud Family,” other notable roles include starring as Maya Dolittle in “Dr. Dolittle 3” and on the show “Recovery Road.”

As for Darnell, this marks his first Lifetime movie, but he has some experience in Christmas, having starred in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ “A Christmas Miracle.” He may also be recognized from his brief stint as Dr. Nate Hastings on the CBS soap opera, “The Young and the Restless.”

So what will happen when these two team up? According to a synopsis, former lovers will reunite after spending some time apart, which could bring them both some unexpected Christmas romance—and answers to the questions they’ve always had.

“When college sweethearts, Corinne (Pratt) and Rob (Darnell), get opportunities on opposite sides of the world, they decide to part ways and meet again in two years on Christmas Eve to see if they are really meant to be,” the synopsis reads. “However, when one shows up and the other doesn’t, the fate of their romance seems to have reached the end.”

Of course, a Christmas wedding many years later will bring them together—and could give them the push they both need.

“Many years later, the two end up bumping into one another when they are both hired to help bring together a Christmas Eve wedding,” the synopsis continues. “With many questions left unanswered, they are about to embark on a journey filled with romance and magic, just in time for Christmas Eve.”

“Let’s Meet Again on Christmas Eve” premieres Saturday, Dec. 5 at 8:00 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
