LG Bello II Midrange Smartphone Officially Announced
LG has introduced the LG Bello II smartphone as a successor model to the Bello smartphone that was released in August 2014. The handset will be aimed toward markets like Latin America, India, European countries and the former Soviet states in the third quarter of this year.
Compared to the predecessor model, the LG Bello II is a bigger device as it measures 140.8 x 71.6 mm. The thickness of the handset is 9.6 mm. The weight of the handset is 155 grams, GSM Arena stated.
The device is fitted with an IPS LCD screen of 5 inches. It supports a display resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and produces a low pixel density of 196 ppi. The device is powered by quad-core processor that clocks at 1.3 GHz. It is supported by 1 GB of RAM. The manufacturer of the chipset is not known yet.
The native storage available on the LG Bello II is 8 GB. On its expandable storage, users can add up to 32 GB of microSD. The handset comes preloaded with the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS that will be overlaid with LG UI 4.0 proprietary software from LG.
The primary camera of the LG Bello II is 8 MP and it is enabled with a single LED flash. It is capable of shooting full HD videos at 30 fps. The selfie camera of the handset is of 5 MP. For the front-facing camera, the LG Bello II offers exclusive features such as Gesture Shot and Selfie Flash.
The LG Bello II is a dual-SIM handset that supports connectivity features like 3G, Wi-Fi, v4.0 Bluetooth, aGPS and GLONASS. The handset will be available in white, "titan" and gold. It is equipped with a large battery of 2,540 mAh capacity.
The LG Bello II will be launched with the moniker LG Prime II in markets like Brazil and Chile. In India, Mexico and the former Soviet Union, the handset will be released as the LG Max. The pricing and availability of the handset will be revealed at the time of launch in respective countries.
