‘LHHATL’ Star Tammy Rivera Calls Marriage To Waka Flocka Flame ‘Amazing’
“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” Season 6 has been filled with an endless amount of drama. Two VH1 cast members that were at the center of some of the madness were Tammy Rivera and Waka Flocka Flame whose marriage had hit a rough patch.
Although the couple has had their fair share of ups and downs following the rapper’s infidelity, the two have come a long way. While doing an interview on The Domenick Nati Show, Tammy reflected on her marriage with the rapper and explained how different things are between them since all the drama transpired.

When asked about her current relationship with Waka, Tammy revealed that things have been “amazing” for the couple.
“It’s actually has been better than ever. That separation actually did us a lot good. He’s worked on himself and he’s changed tremendously and now that he’s changed I have to focus on me trying to change along with the new Waka ‘cause I’m so used to dealing with the old Waka,” she revealed.
“I don’t want to be one of those people that always bring up old things and bring up the past so I’m working on that as well.”
Tammy admitted that even though she was not shocked when Waka cheated, she was hurt over his infidelity. “Sometimes you have to go through things to find out where you belong,” she said.
The two were rumored to have separated in June 2016, just six months after celebrating their second wedding anniversary when Tammy discovered the rapper had cheated on her once again.
In 2014, Tammy told VH1 that Waka actually had a history of stepping outside of their relationship. When asked how unfaithful Waka was on a scale from one to 10, she gave him a 20. “I’m not going to lie. He was off the chain when I first met him and I didn’t know it,” she explained.
“But, he has changed tremendously. When I say that I can’t emphasize that enough. When I look at him now I know there has to be a God because I know God has heard my prayers. Only God can change a man in the way that Waka changed,” she added.
Tammy and Waka’s romance troubles have played out on the latest season of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.” This time around, the rapper, who was kicked out of the home he once shared with Tammy and her daughter, was doing everything he could to work his way back into her life and regain her trust.

Things seemed to get better for the couple after the rapper followed his wife to Jamaica while she was on a girls trip with her friends. After an intimate talk and some much-needed quality time together, their romance seemed to be back on the right track.
Considering all the positive things the reality star had to say about her husband on The Domenick Nati Show, it looks like the rapper’s methods paid off.
