‘LHHH’ Star Masika Kalysha Reveals Reason Behind Broken Friendship With Nia Riley

“Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” cast members are known for their constant drama, but one star recently revealed that she is no longer friends with her cast mate and has no plans on mending their broken friendship.

On Wednesday, Masika Kalysha responded to a fan who was surprised to learn that she and Nia Riley were no longer friends. “Why u in nia not friends im lost what happened?? Cuz in her tweet some one ask about yall in she said she dont talk to any of you anymore,” the fan wrote.

Masika revealed that she had issues when it came to Nia being a loyal friend. “That wasn’t her choice #blockedandbothered,” she replied. The star revealed that she is not a fan of people being fake friends who smile in your face and then talk behind her back.

Even though she ended one friendship, Masika insisted that her relationship with co-star Moniece Slaughter is still intact. “You and Mo still good tho right?” another fan inquired.

“#besties,” Masika replied.

In the latest episode of “LHHH” Season 4, Masika and Nia seemed to be on good terms. Nia stood up for Masika against her enemy, Alexis Skyy, who publicly insulted Nia over the association.

Masika and Nia also came together and attempted to create peace between Misster Ray and Zell Swag. The two men have been feuding since episode 2, which dates back to Masika’s beauty launch party. Zell caused a scene at the event once Masika revealed that she was still mad at him for having a conversation with Alexis.

Ray encouraged Masika to invite Zell to her a launch despite her issues with him, promising that he would make sure that things wouldn’t get out of hand. However, when Zell caused a scene, Ray began to argue with him, and Nia called him out for not controlling himself and adding to the drama at Masika’s event.

Although Masika didn’t reveal the exact incident that ended her relationship with Nia, she did make it clear that she does not plan on ever being friends with her “LHHH” cast member again. One fan begged for Masika to work on her friendship with Nia.

“@masikakalysha sis when are you gonna speak to nia again? Please just work out whatever it is,” the fan pleaded.

“February 32, 1999,” Masika replied, giving a date that doesn’t exist.

One of the reasons their friendship could be over is because Nia has spent time with Zell, who is good friends with Alexis. Masika has continuously insisted she wants nothing to do with the drama and tends to walk out of a venue if Alexis shows up.

During an appearance on KTLA News, she revealed that she has to take the high road now that she is a mother, and shared a video of her interview on Instagram.

“When people have nothing to lose and nothing to look forward to they’re willing to do any and everything to gain something... they will attack you and attach themselves to you in any way possible, negative or positive, hoping to catch some of your ‘win’ they don’t even care if they fail because they’ve already failed in life so anything is better than where they already are,” she captioned the video.

Although it is unclear whether the ladies’ falling out played out on camera or occurred without a film crew present, it seems like the incident was enough to make them want nothing to do with one another.
