‘LHHNY’ Star Yandy Smith’s Top Friendship Moments With Kimbella Vanderhee

“Love & Hip Hop: New York” star Yandy Smith has managed to garner a slew of fans due to her interesting storyline on the VH1 series, but the reality star has continuously had a special person by her side when times get rough, her best friend Kimbella Vanderhee.

As Yandy prepares to celebrate her 35th birthday on Sunday, it is more than likely that Kimbella is either by her side or wishing her a joyful celebration from afar.

The two made their “Love and Hip Hop: New York” debut during Season 2 of the series, which aired between 2011-12, but the duo were friends long before their careers as reality stars kicked off.

Although the friends have managed to maintain a strong friendship, they have had their fair share of fights. During a Season 7 episode of “Love & Hip Hop: New York,” Kimbella explained that she and Yandy are as close as sisters but they tend to argue, cry, wipe each other’s tears and makeup.

The latest season of the reality series proved, that despite their differences, the two friends care about each other very much and managed to create monumental best friends moments throughout their relationship.

Despite still not being on the best terms with one another, Kimbella took it upon herself to post a video and caption on Instagram showing her support for Yandy after it is revealed that she is not legally married to her partner Mendeecees Harris following their televised wedding. Despite the controversy at the time and the criticism Yandy received for lying, Kimbella was there to show her friend support.

Sticking together through the good times and the bad

This glamorous picture shows the strength of Yandy and Kimbella’s friendship, despite past disagreements, the two stuck by each other’s side during the filming of the “Love & Hip Hop: New York” Season 7 reunion episode. Not only was Kimbella there to defend Yandy against their VH1 costars Samantha Wallace and Erika DeShazo but she was ready to fight alongside Yandy when she went to confront Samantha over her lies.

A united family front

This picture was shared the same day part two of the “Love & Hip Hop: New York” Season 7 reunion episode aired. Yandy, Kimbella, Kim’s boyfriend Juelz Santana and their friend Juju had a rocky relationship during the latest season, but this picture proved that they would never let their differences tear them apart. In the caption Yandy refers to the group as her family, a word that she has echoed before when comes to referring to this three individuals.

In this photo Yandy sent her best friend a sweet birthday wish, explaining to the world that she and Kimbella only want the best for one another and have worked hard to make sure their families and careers are strong together.
