Liam Hemsworth was candid during his recent magazine interviews where he opened up about Miley Cyrus and their relationship.

Hemsworth and Cyrus are just one of the Hollywood couples who decided to give their relationship another try. The two celebrities reunited earlier this year after splitting up in 2013. Many reports have been released that indicated that the couple may tie the knot very soon. Both stars have mostly remained silent over their rekindled romance. In an interview with American Way magazine, Hemsworth stated that he wanted to keep his private life private, including his relationship with the former Disney star.

The “Hunger Games” star also stressed how keeping his private life confidential “[is] very important to [him].” He also admitted that he previously read articles or reports about him and his relationship with Cyrus. However, he decided to stop checking press reports. “I used to, but what’s the point? Everything that is written is made up, Hemsworth stated.

The Australian actor even mentioned that the press or reporters have no knowledge of what is really going on in his private life. “They don’t know. They don’t know what’s going on. Story after story gets made up and that’s all they can write, but they don’t know,” Hemsworth continued.

Meanwhile, Chris Hemsworth’s brother also shared some details about his relationship with Cyrus. In an interview with Australia’s GQ magazine, the actor recounted how their previous break-up has been hard on him. He also explained that the split was what they needed to go to move to another chapter in their lives. “At the time we were going in different directions and it’s just what needed to happen,” Hemsworth stated.

The “Independence Day: Resurgence” actor also commented on how they were both “super young” during the first time that they were together. However, he described their separation as a “good decision.” Hemsworth explained that the said break was something that they both had to go through at that time. “It was a good decision at the time – we both needed that,” he said.
