Lil’ Kim surprised fans when she arrived at New York Fashion Week with a baby bump. The 39-year-old rapper is at least three months pregnant, and the father has been revealed to be her on-again, off-again boyfriend, who goes by the name Mr. Papers.

Shortly after showing off her bump, she confirmed her pregnancy to Us Weekly, saying, "I’m so excited! I’m a few months along, I can’t wait to be a mom! I’m still going to work! I’m still going to be hardcore. The baby has made me even more of a beast!”

Friends were quick to congratulate the Brooklyn native, with singer Tamar Braxton writing on Twitter, “Awwwww congrats @LilKim on your little one.”

Now, the big question is, boy or girl? Mr. Papers revealed he and Lil’ Kim are having a boy, during an interview with Radar Online. “That’s my baby… He’ll be taken care of,” Mr. Papers said. “That baby is going to be well taken care of… rocking Tom Ford, Versace — even the stroller will be designer,” he continued.

This will be Lil’ Kim’s first child, and Mr. Papers’ second. He also has a 4-year-old son.

Among other artists to shock fans recently with a pregnancy announcement, last month, after weeks of speculation, Ciara confirmed pregnancy rumors during an appearance on daytime TV show “The View.” After a month of Instagram postings, fans guessed the singer was pregnant, as she wore looser clothes than she usually does, seemingly hiding a baby bump.

Wearing a brown dress, the 28-year-old held her bump on national television, and looked to be at least three or four months pregnant. She is engaged to rapper Future, and this will be their first child together.
